This policy explains how TechRoad collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit this website or contact us, in line with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
What we collect
- Information you give us: name, email address, phone number, organisation and the content of your message when you use a contact or application form.
- CV files: documents you upload when applying for a role.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and visit timestamps, collected for security and abuse prevention.
- Cookies: we use strictly necessary cookies only — to remember your language and theme preference and to keep an admin session signed in.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and manage a contractual relationship.
- To assess job applications.
- To send our newsletter where you have explicitly subscribed — you can unsubscribe at any time.
- To protect the site against abuse and fraud.
Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent, the performance of a contract you are party to, a legitimate interest that does not override your rights, or compliance with a legal obligation.
Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We may share it with trusted service providers (for example hosting and email) strictly as needed to deliver the service, under contractual confidentiality obligations.
Where data is held
We aim to keep client data inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia wherever possible. Any transfer outside the Kingdom is carried out in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and its implementing regulations.
Retention
Contact enquiries are kept for up to 24 months and job applications for up to 12 months unless you agree to a longer period, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
You have the right to access your data, request correction or deletion, withdraw consent, and request a copy. To make a request, email info@techroad.sa. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent authority in the Kingdom.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational controls to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
